Charlotte Wimpole, about to turn 18 in 1844, is living in the Breedlove home having been hired as mentally handicapped Sheridan Breedlove's nanny. There is an evil force afoot that wants Sheri out of the public eye, and they have an eye of their own on the Breedlove fortune. Charlotte, however, unbeknownst to her, is standing right smack in the middle of their plan.
